WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is the application of semi-permanent color into the skin. Using a tool consisting of tiny special needles, pigment is applied to a superficial layer of the skin. This procedure results in the appearance of individual eyebrow hair that lasts for approximately 12-18 months before it completely fades away. Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure, it does NOT last forever. True tattoos are applied to a deeper layer of skin using a machine, which is why they are permanent. Unlike a machine tattoo, microbladed brows fade completely from the skin after a period of time.

The complete microblading process requires two sessions; the first session is two hours long and the second session happens 4-6 weeks later and typically lasts one hour. Microblading is the ideal beauty treatment for anyone looking to save time in their daily routine with natural and even-looking eyebrows. It is perfect for people with active lifestyles because of its semi-permanence. Unlike traditional makeup, a microbladed eyebrow does not wipe off after exercise and is waterproof.

Powder / Ombré Eyebrows

Powder / Ombré Eyebrows

Unlike Microblading, the Powder Ombré process creates a soft, powder-filled brow similar to the look of makeup. The tails of the brow are darker and fade into a light start at the beginning of the brow, giving that eye-catching Ombre Makeup effect! iBrowVixen are the best and most experienced Powder Ombré brows experts in San Francisco and Bay Area.

A Hybrid Brow, or fusion/combo brow is a combination of micropigmentation and microblading. Micropigmentation is a technique done with a digital machine which implants pigment a little deeper in the skin creating a very soft and powdery look after healing is complete.

Nano Brows

Nano brows are a semi-permanent makeup treatment for the eyebrows that creates the look of extra natural volume, fills in sparse patches, and modifies the shape of the arches into your dream brows. It’s a form of cosmetic tattooing – it’s done by opening up the skin and depositing color into it, but it’s not permanent.

The results of nano brows fade gradually and will need a color refresher in about 2 years. iBrowVixen is one of the few, but definitely the best Nano Brow Artist in San Francisco and Bay Area.

The treatment is performed with an electric device similar to a tattooing machine, which is used to draw strokes that imitate the natural brow hairs between them. The needle that opens the skin is as thin as a strand of brow hair.

MAN BROWS

Occasionally men have thinning eyebrows or damaged hair follicles, due to age or overplucking, a microblading treatment can be their only solution. After a certain age, male brows tend to run wild or become sparse and less full.

We all know how important the eyebrows are and how nicely they can frame our faces and give it a nicer look. Therefore, it is not at all unusual that more and more men are opting for this semi-permanent treatment. The great thing about men microblading is that it can restore or give you the desired set of brows which will refresh your face.

scalp micropigmentation

Scalp Micropigmentation is the only 100% effective solution for hair loss including thinning hair, hairline recession, pattern baldness, alopecia, and hair transplant scarring.

Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive treatment that uses detailed micro-needles to deposit pigment into the scalp. The result creates the appearance of tiny hair follicles that help thicken and restore the look of fuller hair. If you are starting to thin, recede, or if you are completely bald, we can give you the look of a short buzz cut.

Scalp Microblading

Like brow microblading, scalp microblading is a temporary tattooing procedure that embeds cosmetic pigments into the dermis (unlike a permanent tattoo where ink is deposited below the dermis). The idea is to recreate natural-looking strokes that replicate the appearance of real hair and conceal any thinning areas on the scalp. Great for people with long hair.

Permanent Eyeliner

Permanent Eyeliner

Eyeliner is a makeup-lover’s best friend. It can define your eyelashes and make your eyes pop, bringing everyone’s attention to the “windows to your soul.” But if you wear eyeliner every day, you know how irritating the daily routine of applying it and taking it off can be (not to mention the raccoon-eye residue you may see at the end of the day). If that sounds like your daily makeup routine, you might consider permanent eyeliner. Although this procedure could revolutionize your morning schedule, you must choose carefully from the many permanent eyeliner styles available.

Lip Blush

Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup. Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness.
